Maybe one day we can get together and eat a bunch of caramels.

Do I Have to Wake Up?

I came across this article as I was eating breakfast this morning. At 6:15 this morning. I thought it was pretty good. If you've got 5 minutes or so to kill, and don't mind reading something sporting-realted, it's a good read.

Here's the link. Right here.

Additionally, I've had a less than stellar turnout on the baby name game. I guess you people don't like free candy as much as I thought.

If you're in the mood to try a new cereal, try Blueberry Muffin Tops. They come in the big bag by the same company that makes the Fruity Pebbles knock-offs. Good stuff.

Gotta go to work. Have a great day.

Naming Babies Is No Fun

Most of you know my wife and I are having twins. Well, along with all the good things that you can imagine about that, comes the inevitable task of naming the little muppet heads. Now I'm the kind of guy that will stand in the candy section for much longer than necessary trying to pick the perfect candy treat. Imagine me trying to decide on ONE name that a child will have for life, much less TWO. Plus, when you add in the middle names, I'm being forced to come up with FOUR, count them FOUR, names. To make matters worse, I'm meeting with much resistance whenever I come up with a really outstanding idea.

Take this for instance. I was looking at a name web site and saw the name Edgerrin. As in Edgerrin James. But anyway, I immediately thought one baby will be named Adam Clayton Gunter, and the other one will be called Edgerrin Wallace Gunter. Adam and Edge. Completely awesome, but of course, NOOOOOOO!!!! "That's LAME!", they said. "You're crazy!", said another "family member".

Another great idea down the drain. Some people just gotta keep a guy down.
But I press along, and now have 22 names. It's a work in progress, but I'm pretty sure our names will come from this list. Here it is, the names and their orgins.

1) Liam - Irish
2) Coen - German
3) Adriel - Native American
4) Alton - Old English
5) Avery - Anglo-Saxon
6) Damen - Greek
7) Damien - Greek
8) Darin - Celtic
9) Derek - Old German
10) Ethan - Hebrew/Latin
11) Ian - Celtic/Gaelic
12) Keenan - Gaelic
13) Max - Latin
14) Owen - Old Welsh/Greek
15) Sawyer - Middle English
16) Sean - Celtic
17) Tristan - Old Welsh/Latin
18) Wallace (Middle Name) - Old English
19) Xavier - Arabic
20) Conan - Celtic
21) Donovan - Irish
22) Foster (Middle Name) -Latin

Some of them are definitely out, and some of them I like alot. Feel free to use this list to try to guess what the names will be. If you guess it right, I'll buy you a bag of your favorite candy. Really, I will. The winner will be notified on this very blog. If you're lucky, maybe I'll post your picture or something.

That is all.
